Synopsis

Remy Voss spent six years fixing rust-bucket cars in his dead father's garage, barely scraping by. When the System arrives and turns Earth into a monster-infested hellscape, everyone else gets combat classes. Remy gets [Salvage Artificer]—a crafting class that lets him break down anything (corpses, rubble, failed enchantments) into raw materials and forge them into items that shouldn't exist. His first creation, a sword made from a demon's ribcage and his father's wedding ring, sells for enough Credits to buy a safehouse. His second attracts a bidding war between warlords. By his tenth, he's accidentally created an economy where the most powerful people in the new world need him alive. But when his creations start killing their owners in ways that benefit his competitors, Remy realizes someone is sabotaging his work from the inside. Can he find the traitor before his reputation—and his life—are dismantled piece by piece?
